EURO 3D: promoting 3D spectroscopy

The Euro3D european network, funded by the European Commission, was created last year to
promote scientific access to 3D spectroscopy in Europe. It is led by M. Roth (IAP,
Germany) and gathers 11 partner institutes with access to all major infrared and visible
integral field spectrographs in Europe. A total of 10 post-docs have been hired and they
participate to forefront research bsed on 3D spectroscopy as well as to the development of
analysis tools for 3D spectroscopy. In this poster, I will present the Euro3D network and
its goals. I will also give a brief description of the accompanying software developments.
