Visa Information

Foz do Iguaçu is located on the border of Brazil with Argentina and Paraguay. If you desire cross the tri-national border you should verify if a visa is required for citizens of your nationality to do so. Below, we listed the countries whose citizens are visa exempted to enter in Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

Travelers who have single entry or an expired multiple entry visa may not re-enter in Brazil before obtaining a new visa. No visa can be obtained at the border or airports. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months.

Brazil

The citizens of the following countries are visa exempted to enter in Brazil.

Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Malta, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela.

Argentina

Countries whose citizens are visa exempted to enter in Argentina:

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Chile, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Germany, Great Britain and North Ireland, Finland, France, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Holly See, Honduras, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, St. Lucia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela and Yugoslavia, allowed to stay for a length of 90 days.

Granada, Hong Kong (with British passport), Jamaica and Malaysia, for 30 days.
