Abstract:

Using the Near-infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) at the Gemini North telescope we have observed the inner 3" x 9" of the Seyfert Galaxy NGC4151 in the Z, J, H and K spectral bands. The strongest emission-lines show double-peaked profiles, which can be understood as due to emitter gas outflowing in a bicone configuration. In this work we use the observed emission-line profiles to constrain a model for the biconical outflow.
