Título: Polarimetry of stars in transition phases
Resumo: Be and B[e] stars are objects in transition phase that are known to have circumstellar disks or rings, and whose formation mechanism is not well understood. The presence of this material around stars produce a slight polarization, which can be measured using a telescope fitted with a drawer polarimetric. The level of polarization in Be and B[e] stars can provide insights about the presence of circumstellar disks or rings. Therefore, we propose to derive polarization levels of 57 stars and, consequently, confirm the presence or absence of circumstellar disks or rings around these objects.
